This may be of interest to RVers and others with smaller systems.
I happened to run across these new 24V and 48V batteries from Epoch, similar to the feature packed and popular 12V/460AH battery. A bit lacking on specs currently but I’d imagine those will be updated soon.
The 48V is a bit less on AH/WH due to cell configuration? Bummer missing the 768wh out of each but one could go with two 24V models in series if going 48V and wanting the most WH.
Considering this for my Sprinter van.

Epoch also has a 48V to 12V voltage reducer on their site now which some might find useful for RV use.

Nice! I’ll let someone else be the pioneer, but if it works out I think I found my next golf cart battery!

If anyone gets the 12V converter, can they measure the quiescent current with the key off?

My current converter draws 275mA(!) with the key off, destroyed a set of FLA batteries and threw the coulomb counter for the LFP batteries for a loop, so I had to add a relay to cut the supply power to it. 🤯

What is your current converter?
(Pun intended though the subject is voltage)

Epoch actually makes golf cart batteries and complete kits including a 48V/105ah and a monster 48V / 160ah model.

It says its a v2 model what is changed form the v1 model. If you have a v1 model will it work with the v2?
Maybe call Epoch support and ask.

Or maybe @Epoch Support can answer that here.

It’d be helpful if Epoch bullet pointed the differences between V1 and V2 in the product description and if there are any compatibility issues between the versions, and if so - is there a workaround.

@Epoch Support does not bother paying any attention to this forum; all tags to them go unanswered in my experience. That's a shame after Will gave their battery teardown such a great review. I can only imagine how many of their batteries Will's review has sold for them.
