Good evening guys and gals I have a question about a EV battery out of a 2017-2018 Hyundai IONIQ car, it says the Ioniq Electric has a 28 kWh lithium-polymer battery pack @ 360 volts. Have any of you DIY'ers had any experience with this battery out of one of these cars. I can buy one of these close to me at a local salvage yard for around 1200.00 that sounds like a great price for a 28 kwh battery if it can be used for off grid battery storage. I just haven't been able to find out very much about this battery. I don't know if it has cells or modules that can be rearranged to build a 48 volt battery pack. I really want to pull the trigger on one of these but I just need more info on it before I can spend that much money. Any help you guys and gals can give will be greatly appreciated.

Ok thanks just saw the lithium polymer is a fire just waiting to happen.

High voltage inverter like Huayu,Megarevo,GE,GoodWe...voltage battery range from 150vdc to 500vdc.
