EVE 105ah Battery Queen DIY Box

Hi Guys,
I acquired some Eve 105ah LFP cells, around 4 years old but uncycled.
I wanted to make a 16s pack using a Seplos style DIY box with balance pcbs, bus bars etc. for a nice easy build.
I purchased the Battery Queen box from aliexpress.
It's not quite what I was told or hoped it would be.
If anyone is looking at buying one one they may want to watch this vid I made first.

I actually bought the same set because I thought it looked like a good option for building my 16s pack. I'm curious to hear more about your experience - what issues did you run into, and how did you end up proceeding with the build? Also, I'd love to know what other parts you decided to go with in the end. Looking forward to hearing more about your setup!

I'm still gathering parts for the build currently.
So far I have purchased the following:
bus bars for cells and bms
Extra epoxy separators
Eva foam sheets
4 Awg cable.

I'm also reversing the + and - terminals and adding a circuit breaker to the face plate.
I'll probably make a video once I have everything together.

What did you find out about the bus bars? I'm thinking of making them myself using 4 AWG cable and the appropriate cable lugs.

They are the exact same bus bars I have. They're a good fit. Just need larger washers as they have a 6mm hole.
Are you using grub screws or bolts to fasten

Still waiting for the cells. Tracking shows they are currently in Kazakhstan. In the meantime, I'm working on sourcing all the other components. For insulation between the cells, I bought 0.5mm thick DIY epoxy boards (128 x 198mm). To insulate the bottom and sides, I got two large non-stick oven liners (60 x 40 cm), which are reusable, dishwasher-safe baking spill mats that can also be used as barbecue grill mats.

I used the same epoxy for between cells. I also got some eva foam pads as the cells were loose just with epoxy.
I like your idea of bbq mats for sides!
I will finish setting mine up soon, just working on other parts of the system.
I just ordered a 6kw deye inverter also

Just realised apexium make a 105ah diy box, wish I had seen that before ordering the battery queen.
Just ordered one from alibaba for my second box, same bms so all good there.
Also noticed the BQ box now comes with jk bms!
