I recently installed a solar system on my house with 24 Panels, an EG4 12kPV with a GridBoss, along with 2 Indoor wall batteries. The 12kPV has 2 MPPT's. My panel strings are as follows: 2 Strings of 7 connected to MPPT1 (West Roof), and 1 string of 10 connected to MPPT2 (East Roof). I have space to add 5 more panels next to the string of 10. I could either reconfigure the string of 10 to 2 strings of 7 panels, and only add 4 of the 5 I was intending, or I could have a string of 5 panels that connect to a separate charge controller and charge the batteries directly. Does anyone know if the EG4 charge controller will connect seamlessly to the EG4 Monitor App? I would like a way to monitor the added panels.

@HavenSolar the EG4 MPPT100-48HV does not integrate with the EG4 Monitor application.

It does appear to interface with an EG4 Battery but I do not have any of them to test it with. I am using one much like you are describing to add one more string of panels to my 3 6000xps. It is just connected the output to the inverter side of the busbar and run it in "user-mode". My Victron shunt tracks it as part of the current flow to and from the batteries.
