Experience of LiFePo in hot'n humid

Wanting to help my elderly folks in Kenya with a backup system for the unreliable grid, and we've been quoted for Growatt 5kW plus 2 x WECO LiFe batteries (spec sheets attached)
We have been warned that Li batteries don't do well in the environment (hot and humid) and break down long before the 10 year warranty.
This person lives very near the coast, whilst my parents residence is further inland and at about 1200ft altitude so there is a decrease in humidity and heat in comparison to the coastal plain.

I'm wondering
  • who has had experience of Li failures (particularly due to this type of climate) - is there any truth to the warning?
  • If so what can be done (simply) to mitigate against it?
  • Does the BMS protect against high/low temperature?
I am obviously keen they have a system fit-for-purpose.............. TIA for any real world knowledge

Thanks this IS good. The batteries will be mounted in the office in a building with high palm frond thatch (think Thai/Indonesian style roofing) - I doubt the temp ever reaches 30C in there...........
