Is there anyway to tell when the error started and stopped?

Manufacturing date?

Mine are "old" , no problem.

A friend likes to buy also and obviously better a version without known trouble.

Is there a way to know before you start the BMS and look inside the app?,

I just obtained this JK-B2A224S20P model from JKBMS Store on AlibabaExpress. (Hi Frank from Capt Bill in Northern California) ... I hope is the newer version ...look like same model number w other info matching except; ... I have 8S-24S. I did wonder if my BMS wires were from an earlier lesser model as they look skinier than the same BMS as viewed on YouTube channels. I obtained 20 awg sized BMS wires for 2A active balance, and now think this must be ok. Found this thread looking for the pdf file manual. I will skim through to see what's up :+) ... I am just getting started (pre BMS install) on my first DIY 48 volt lifepo4 batterybank with some 305 Ah cells I recently obtained.
