I'm a beginner and ordered this too. Victron's datasheet says it can handle 250A but it's listed for 500A on Amazon.
It helps to know some of the stats on what your buying so you can spot a typo or wrong stat…
Amazon will occasionally use numbers that are wrongly typed in by data entry people who have no idea what’s the product even is … I have seen it now and then…
if you see an error then verify it through research… don’t trust the first thing you see… verify and research…
Hell, I will call the main company and talk to the techs that designed the product if I have to…or if I get confused ….
Somtimes the forum members know much more than the people selling the stuff.. that’s cool too.
Info, returns and customer service are generally rather easy if your dealing with USA based company’s , that handles thst product and have a business with a real address , in a city and state and have a good background in doing business ….
it can be ordered from Amazon or them…
If you just jump on Amazon and order the cheapest thing possible from “God knows who ” without doing a little homework , things can go south …
It’s just the way of todays market place …you have to know a little about who and what your buying if it’s pricey…if it’s not , then it’s not a biggie…take a shot…
Best of luck…J.
