I have my 2xSOK 12V/206Ah LFP batteries mounted under the steps inside my 5er that go into the bedroom. This space is the front basement and gets heat and a/c indirectly through the large vent panel they installed for the converter (that I no longer have installed since I have an inverter/charger now). While it works great, it takes a while to heat up the LFPs. I was thinking of adding a heat duct that goes to the LFP compartment, but then I thought I could just put in a 12V computer fan on the back side of the bottom step and suck air directly into the battery space that way. Easy to do and there is plenty of room for it.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Here's the compartment that is under the stairs. I would just mount the fan on the back side of the bottom step which would put it in the very back of this compartment.

I'll put a switch in my power panel. Probably a dimmer type like I have for my awning lights.
