Fed-UP with Fed-"Ex"

Fortunately I have some other options. I have been in communication with the YouTube contributor with a membership of about 66k viewers who has spoken often about this product. She responded saying she wants to help resolve this with the vendor. Considering the number of customers that come from her channel I suspect her voice will mean something.

Edit: She will be calling the CEO of the company on Monday on my behalf!

Yeah, we just ordered one of the EG4 wall mount batteries and inverters on Black Friday and FedEx freight lost them. They are currently looking for the pallet.

Edit: they did find the pallet, so after an extra 4 day detour through some nearby cities, it got delivered to us.

Well to update, after talking with a number of "customer service" reps, They finally opened a Support Ticket. They ask 48 hours to investigate.
Well, as said earlier by others, this was a total joke. I had posted this 4 days ago and it was never updated. Either that or they operate on a different calendar LOL.

Wow! My support ticket finally has a response:

"We assigned your support ticket to one of our representatives and our research is currently in progress."

Well gee, already delivered.... Guess we have different definitions on service...

Currently in progress: On desk "A" at bottom of 8" heap. Six weeks later on desk "B" at bottom of 10" heap. Eight weeks later on desk "C" at bottom of heap. It was too high and fell over but was over 12".

So FedEx uses a trick that reminds me of an old game called "whack a mole" only in this case the customer feels like the mole. I have one item that has not been delivered yet. Here is how the game is played:

Then you are prompted that delivery will take place between xx and xx. Finally you say as you get your hopes up that the package is finally arriving. Then the time passes and it is replaced with a message that says delivery will occur before the end of the day. When that doesn't happen the message tells you:

Repeated for several days now. Now that is a service I want to represent my business, right???

Hard to complain about that.

True. Beginning to think this is a depot issue much like Amazon. Some are very reliable and early or on time. Others need serious maintenance to improve service.

I’ve had many packages delivered by different carriers at various locations throughout the United States. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. I’ve not seen any consistency.
I get packages all the time and it's just a mess these days from everyone. A total melt-down from just a few years ago.

Everything is timed to the minute. There’s zero redundancy to save money. So all it takes is one guy with explosive poo’s to send ripples through the entire system. As long as they get it right most of the time, people will deal with it.

USPS is the one that I hate the most. Lost packages and Tracking info is typically wrong.

As for early delivery after Thanksgiving and Black Friday I am being told by someone in retail, that Sales were way down this year. Online they say they were up but like many of you I also got packages a lot faster than previous years on BFriday. It seems like the delivery systems were not as busy as expected. Read into it what you want but I suspect that a lot of people are hunkering down waiting to see what happens with the economy.

I can attest to FedEx ground being a disaster . . . My house is on a dead end road and there are several dead ends along the main road. The Fed Ex driver has repeatedly delivered my package to the house at the end of the wrong dead end. (my road is on the left, the driver keeps delivering on the road to the right)

There are obvious road signs marking each road and the house numbers are entirely different, yet the driver keeps going to the wrong road & wrong house. When you call FedEx and/or look on their website, they give you the impression that they can/will retrieve the mis-delivered package and get it to the proper address. It does not happen . . .

Finally the person at the 'wrong' house came over and advised us that they had received our packages. They had notified FedEx, yet nothing happened. At least we now know where to look when the next FedEx delivery does not show up.

UPS and Amazon have been 100% in their deliveries to my house, Not sure what is going on at FedEx . . . But I'm "FedUP" . . . so I avoid choosing FedEx ground whenever possible.

I avoid UPS and FedEx whenever possible. If I have something shipped by them from the USA to Canada, they charge exorbitant for crossing the border. A $100.00 item can cost and extra $100.00 from them even it it's just going a couple of miles inside Canada. They claim brokerage and other fees to try and substantiate their immoral fees. I always use USPS and have never had one problem. I just had something shipped that wasn't supposed to be here until today. I was two days early.

So progress to date. Two units sent, one finally received. Apparently the hub in question made the news due to complaints. Others were having the same issue.

I just had two Oupes Mega One's shipped to N. Falls from CA and received them in good condition. Of course they were packed exceptionally well. However, they did take longer than I am used to and were a day later than promised.
