Field temporary ground layout of PV: Securing the panels from winds

HI,

I'm building a house in a remote location where I need to install a offgrid solution. I purchased a pallet of 30 used 230w panels to provide temporary power on the site. Once the house is built, I might purchase new (more efficient) panels to go on the house roof, and might build trakers stations around the house, I will design and build the final installation once the house is built.

I'm looking for the cheapest, fastest way to secure 30 panels to the ground against wind for the next few months. I just need a few degrees inclination which will also provide a simple
structure to secure the panels. Configuration of the panel are 10s 3P.

Question: is it ok if the panels lay on the grass on one side? The temporary structure will elevate the other side.

Any ideas or pic from projects very welcome and appreciated.

Thank you so much!

For testing I layed 10 panels on cement blocks and used them for months never had a problem with the wind because they were only 8” off the ground. They produced petty good in the summer. Winter is really bad oriented flat. It won’t hurt the panels to be in the grass but it takes very little lawn debris or tall blades of grass shading to cut into your production.

It’s fine. Problems can occur though if critters get under there and chew wires. Then those aluminum panels can be energized and be a shock hazard when you touch one.

I suggest wrapping the back with some kind of mesh to prevent this. Also ground rods may help, but that’s not quite universally accepted.

On pic is panels installed on my trailer the other is my array being tested on the ground and the last is the easiest way to reduce your solar output by 1/3 rd

I have laid panels on the ground flat overnight and they sometimes blow away. For the end that’s on the ground, I recommend that also be elevated, but post 5 looks like you did this.

I get winds up to 35 mph. I can’t open your link on the ground grabba, but if you think that anchors it than great.

Finally, pics once the temp project is complete. Please.

Thank you all for your great advises.

I decided to build a easy wood structure that on which I'll use wood screw and washer to fix them on, and I purchased some groundgrabba (https://www.groundgrabba.com/collections/all-products/products/groundgrabba-pro-1-pack) to hold the structure to the ground. I little overkilled for a temporary installation, but I can modify it for the winter should I need to.
Here is the result:
