Fire Sprinkler system a good idea?

So I have recenty Built a couple Yixiang DIY box battery banks to feed my 2 Sungold Power 10K inverters that power a majority of my house. Obviously the yixiangs are not UL listed, but as everyone already knows, we are all past that on alot of this DIY stuff, however, I was wondering if a Fire Sprinkler system would be effective on a battery fire.

In the off chance that something goes wrong, I know the Yixiangs have a small fire suppressant in them that may or may not stop the initial fire, but in the event that it doesnt, I was thinking about installing a single fire sprinkler as a backup.

I installed my system in my laundry closet. Its about 6 feet wide by 5 feet deep. We recently bought a stackable washer and dryer to replace our old ones and I had all that space to the side, and that open area just happened to be the exterior wall that my main house panel sits on the opposite side, so I have easy access to tap into power to feed the inverters from the grid, and to tie back into my circuits to feed power from my inverter.

The water spigot is right in that closet, and I was thinking about just splitting the cold water off and running a copper line up the wall and mounting to the ceiling and dangling a fire sprinkler up there. In the event of a battery fire, this would hopefully go off. Would this be feasible in stopping a battery fire, or is there a better option?

This closet just has normal closet folding open door that open into a large room.

If you decide to go ahead with it I recommend a "whole room pan" so you can drain all that water if it comes to it, otherwise you'll end up with large mess, maybe even worse than the battery fire.

That had crossed my mind, but I would need the door to be closed to contain the water. Drain would be easy to install in this room. With the door closed I was minorly concerned about the inverters building up heat and possibly popping the sprinkler, which would mean i may need a vent.

Other option is to build a small dog house like structure just to house the batteries outside a few feet away from the house on the other side of the wall. I have everything I need to build it already. That was my first thought actually, however, I live in CO and it regularly gets below freezing in the winters, and occasionally below 0.

idk how hot these batteries get, but can you building a metal enclosure around them with rockwool insulation?

maybe facebook market place for some fireproof cabinets???

I decided to just take a safer route and put them outside. I built a small Dog House looking enclosure this weekend about 10 feet away from the house. Originally was going to build it for my generator to quiet it down, but now its going to be the battery/inverter house. I can snugly fit 2 10Kw inverters and 2 5KW Inverters in, with a sub panel and 4 Yixiangs stacked up in between them. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong it will just be an issue out there and I think the building is small enough that the inverters can probably keep it warm enough in the winter that my makeshift battery warmer heat pad solution wont have to be on much.
