Just showing it off since its not on fire :D Bought the 280k 8000 cycle V3 batteries and JK280 kit from Docan Power for $2k to my door, came with everything needed. Should run the eg4 6000 xp nicely. Thanks to a google search on used EV batteries about a year ago when Wills name popped up and this groups help, I gathered the courage to take this intimidating project on! now for some 2/0 wire and lots and lots of settings to study and set!thumbnail_image6.jpgthumbnail_image2.jpgthumbnail_image5.jpgthumbnail_image4.jpgthumbnail_image3.jpgthumbnail_image1.jpgthumbnail_image0.jpg

How comfortable would you be standing that thing up on endcagainst a wall? Any concerns about things shifting around in there?
Not very, unless modifying the case. It would not be worth the effort since docan power has released vertical case designs. Originally I was going to wait for them but they wont be available in the US for another 1-2 month Kim says. With all the Tariff scares and current low pricing I pulled the trigger.

Nice big battery! good work.

Note: Just got a shipped notice for Seplos Vertical Case kit (16 x 280 style) from Alibaba I orderd Aug 20 from Canada. So vertical cases are available. Now patiently waiting for Hthium cell prices to go down a notch or the Cdn dollar to increase. Either or.

And that would be why I asked. Everybody and their uncle has rackmount cases, but verticals are always "Coming Soon".

Thanks!

About 220 pounds there? I’d have to build it where it’s going to live.
Its hefty. luckily I have jacks and an engine hoist if I needed to move it. the wife doesn't have enough mmmpphhh! I will drag the shelf underneath the 6000 xp once done with the wiring. I was so close to stealing your truck toolbox on wheels idea :D
