First post. building a hybrid system.

I & brother are already installed skybox inverter but the solar does not producing energy. We installed without rapid shutdown, I already jumped pin 4 to pin 12. Can anyone give me some advice about it.

First I would check PV voltage into inverter.

No rapid shutdown to disconnect it, but there are a couple of errors and defect that can creep in:


1) Half the panels wired backwards to zero volts out.

2) Off-brand MC4 connectors don't make contact.

3) Polarity backwards (in which case I hope it has a diode clamp, which will pull it down to a volt or two.)

we had following the instruction and doing step by step already. The DC voltage from PV appeared at output of PV combine As show in the left picture. In the case of right picture, the PV is produced but nothing come up (Lifetme : 0.00 MWh)

Is battery full?

What voltage from PV? What is MPPT range of charge controller?

If a battery is not hook up, we have to set Net metering with back up
