Hey I'm not the idiot who thought it was a good idea, or that it would do much if anything. My only point is they have been attempting to mess with things for decades, with varying levels of "success" (loosely)

Not a typo, 180 pounds. And a hurricane weighs 2x10^13 pounds according to My Good Friend Google. Fortunately, people who want to believe this stuff aren't going to be swayed by arguments of scale, common sense, or critical thinking. Oh well. There's been some murmurings that Helene was the result of another weather modification attempt gone wrong (or, right, depending on your perspective, maybe they're trying to hurt us right before elections, after all Axelrod said without remorse that those Trump voters who are most hit in NC might not be able to vote this election, well how lucky for them).
The funny/not funny thing is, they say the current warming trend started mid 20th century.
Also found out that mid-20th century is when they started playing with the weather and cloud seeding. And they've only ramped up the efforts.
By "They" I mean all the various crazies. Cloud seeding is mostly done by private companies paid by governments and rich people who want "perfect" weddings (company in UK). Some have started blaming them for making Cali droughts worse because when you tinker with stuff upstream, what does it do downstream? "They" have even admitted more recently that you know, we never studied the downstream effects....
Then you have China openly bragging that they heavily cloud seed to make it rain there when they want it to. What does that do to weather patterns?
I don't know. I have no background in climate, weather, etc. But when things line up like that, I just go hmm is this just a coincidence, or is it more?
Maybe there is something to this whole "man-made global warming," but not for the reasons they give, which would mean their "solutions" aren't going to do squat all. Well ok, knew their so-called "solutions" were garbage, but this would just be yet another reason why.

Well golly gee, I guess a lot of people through history who made accurate guesses, experiments, and other stuff without background should never have even thought about it! My nephue call his incurance company about the tornado that made his house unlivable and this two vehicles. Insurances company said call FEMA. He call F&^% and they said they aren't set up for Hurricane Milton yet. Don't fix or change anything until an adjuster come there and look at it.
So his house was damaged the evening before the hurricane hit. Open to the elements and then the hurricane hits. I can see them counting it as two separate events with double deductibles. He is now living with me with his two dogs.. I like dogs but these dogs are spoiled biting mother F&**())_). That is my Nephew's wife fault. Their education has just begun...
Give more EBT credit cards and free rooms to undocumented, trespassing, illegals and screw the citizens...
I had 5 hours sleep working 16hr shifts. Other had to work 24hr with less sleep so I should be grateful I didn't fall off the building fixing microwave dishes in 49 MPH wind.
Do things seem a little unbalanced here or is it just me... I tried hard not to be political and just say the facts. This is really happening. No, really!

Reminds me of days that we lived through when USSR collapsed. I wish we had solar back then, sitting wrapped in a blanket with candles with -30C outside was quite an experience.
I keep extra panels tucked away in case everything outside gets blown away or damaged in storms. If the house goes nothing else really matters is my thought... I'll be gone too. Having solar and such would definitely help if not destroyed in a storm. A generator is a requirement unless it gets blown away.
A 12volt inverter can be operated with a car battery in emergency and teamed with solar panel setup even better.
I'd recommend boiling water. Also Drinking bottled water for a while. Storms usually cause bad things to happen with tap water.

A retirement community was hit by the tornado and the news reports what they were told by local government. Reported dead was 8. Hospital confirmed that there were 30 bodies delivered. People can't handle the truth.
