If you have a SCC connected to a busbar then to a AGM battery to charge the battery the volts/amps go towards the battery.
If then the same cable is taking volts and amps from the battery to the same busbar then onto a device to power it
Does it not matter if there is volts and amps travelling in opposite directions at the same time. Does this cause heat by friction in the cable
The short answer is that if there is a wire where you calculate that there should be 20 amps going in one direction and you also calculate that there should be 5 amps going in the other direction then in reality there are only 15 amps moving at all. The other 5 literally cancel each other out.
