Only requirement is 100 posts on the forum. Must come here in person. If you're a lurker, send me photo of your system and how you'll use them, and I'll consider it.

If you have a few thousand posts on the forum, you can take a lot! I'll have an inverter to throw in also

There's some more batteries, especially server racks.

Hmm. 9.5 hour drive each way, have to decide how many batteries I would need to get for 19 hours of driving (or 9.5hrs + a last minute flight and one way rental car) to be worth it.

Dayum..... My dude, that's a crazy offer, I wish I was still traveling with my trailer, I'd be there in a heartbeat!

Only way I could do it right now would be a "cannonball run" and nearly the same route.

I am at the finish line having lunch at Portofino Inn *right now*. Sign is right outside.

If I flew down to vegas, think they'd let me take a few server racks as a carryon? Going through security with one of those DIYs would be hilarious too.

"Purpose of visit?" "SOLAR JIHAD!" *Waves around wire-festooned BMS in explanation*

I would pay money to see the look on the TSA's face when you rolled up with THAT as your carry-on.
The guy on the scanner would look like an orangutan trying to do algebra, and then they'd have to open it, and it would be even funnier.

I've actually traveled with tools - socket wrench sockets and a bunch of smaller stuff, with the bigger pieces in my checked luggage to keep the weight down. The TSA inspection ALWAYS pulled mine aside b/c they couldn't figure out what it was, and nearly got a hernia trying to pick it up! More than a couple asked "what the hell....?" before opening it.

Always passed right through though.

Lithium limits for carry on are 98 Wh per battery, unlimited personal quantity. I don't think a server rack at 5kW would count. ;)
