Looking at a Fronius Primo 7.6, it lists max useable input current as 36A total for the two MPPTs together. It also lists 27A as the max array short circuit current. The array I'm considering has 21 modules, 3 strings of 7, for total system short circuit current of 32.4A. Will the inverter handle this? I don't understand why the short circuit current is lower than the useable input current, that makes no sense.

Nevermind, I figured it out. It's 27A per MPPT for the short circuit current, so the total is 54A, which makes sense. I guess what these two numbers mean is if the Input current gets larger than 36A the inverter starts to clip. And if it gets larger than 54A it starts to smoke.
