Here is my manufacturer's (TIME USB) recommendation for 4P 4S (16 EA 12v 100ah) configuration of 48V 400AH
They did not recommend fusing. I am using type K 3/8" flattened tubing and 2 heavier bars for the positive and negative ends. I will use 500A fuse on the positive end. Where else?

Thanks,1734917871255.png

One battery, one fuse.

Class T if available with that much amperage will run around $125 for fuse block, fuse, lugs and mounting hardware.

After the main line splits, each string off the busbar gets a fuse or breaker. This gets expensive since 48 volt rated fuses are pricier than atc, ANL and other common choices only good up to 24 volts.

If this just powers the inverter and no other dc items, one fuse is fine.
