Future of DIY LiFePO4 looks bleak…

my goal at the time being to keep pricing at around $800 or less per 5kWh, and allow for moving by one person.

I can move 114 Kwh all by myself. One cell at a time. I move the shop box now all by myself.

For 114 Kwh, that comes to $18,400 with $800/5 Kwh vs $12,062 for my box.

For 6 grand, I'll build my own. Economy of scale pays off when it comes to DIY batteries.

Docan USA - (32) lf304 - $2755 delivered

I am leaning towards Amy at Luyuan.

No you would be dealing with a US company that has to follow US laws in regards to warranties, delivery, quality of delivered items etc. do you know what it costs to ship a LiFePo4 cell form the US to china? in the US you have to follow the international shipping rules for batteries and hazmat where as china and all of its companies totally ignore them as they are on chineese flagged ships..... they can ship a whole pallet to you for what it would cost for you to ship one back.

Jenny Wu from Docan China warehouse. Takes about 7weeks to get to my door. UPS said they were delivering 32pcs today between 1pm-4pm, so I left Thanksgivings dinner early ... still no UPS. Krap, I missed some good food for nothing.

$2329.95 total. $555ddp shipping and 5% PP fee. $72.81/cell. Shipping seems expensive but 18650 charged $226 to ship 32pcs across a couple states.

Yes. My 'a' grade eve304 from 18650 look pregnant when compared to the ess grade Hithium.
