Man, I have to say that I'm not easily impressed with any soldering iron (Metcal user for 25 years)
BUT this thing is a absolute monster with the C470 tips. Solders 0.8 mm copper sheet at ease and pushes 360 watts to the iron, yet extremely nimble and coupled with the smaller C210 handle suitable to work even smallest SMD components under microscope.
at ~150 USD/EUR (with 2 handlepieces and couple of tips) from aliexpress this feels like a total steal compared to anything else out there.
Geeboon TC22 looks like very good option also if you don't need monster power like this.

Been using this now for couple of days and based on that I'm pretty happy with the performance.

C210 tips heat to soldering temps from cold in about 4 seconds. From stand-by it takes less than 2 seconds, always faster than what it takes for me to move the iron from the stand to target.

Only complaints I have is that built-in fan is kind of annoying when using C470 tips. Fan activates every time there is major power demand.
With C245 tips the fan runs for 2 seconds on initial warm-up and with C210 tips the fan never turns on.

Handlepieces have decent built quality and feel suprisingly nice. Tips fit really firmly to a point that changing hot tips would be easier if the mounting would be a bit more loose.

I have yet to try genuine JCB tips but even the Geeboon branded clones seem to perform ok-ish.

Edit: did firmware update to latest 1.27 version and the fan control improved a lot. Now the fan is not running at all with C210 or C245 tips and only runs on C470 initial heat.

I just recently got one of these on the strength of this post. Mine only came with one handle and the C245 and C470 tips.

I am impressed, even with the small C245 tip it removes MOSFETs from my 4 layer 2oz board with huge copper pours and no thermal reliefs. 😎

The fan is annoying, so I’ll check out that firmware upgrade.
