Hi New Guy here. I did little research before jumped right into building my lifepo4 setup for my trailer. I went 12 volt and wired two fortune overkill 100AH twelve volt batteries in parallel.
I ran two 12 v BMS’s. The way I have the bus are set the positives for both batteries and the negatives as well line up togeather in the center.
I have a bus that connects the two positives together then wired each battery to the fuse.
The negative side I didn’t use a bus because there were so many lug ends for the BMS’s that I didn’t think they’d fit so I ran two more wires to my shunt. The bms how’s on both batteries that the first and last cell voltage varies a lot durring charge and discharge and both batteries show different voltages/ percentages. Did I mess up by not connecting the negatives at the battery?
Thanks for the help.
