Generator surge

Hello All, I am running into a problem with my setup and was wondering if anybody has a clue what to do.
I have 2 lv6548's running in parallel with 200ah batteries and 9500 solar connected. The issue I have is that when I connected my new 14kw kohler (14resa) generator to the inverters it starts to surge and the frequency goes up and down. It is 240v and L1 goes to one inverter, L2 goes to the other and they share a neutral. As it is the inverter will see it, connect and then disconnect. before purchasing the generator I asked MPP if there were any know issues with kohler and Mpp and they said none they new of.

I might be looking at the generator closer. The governor may not be adjusted optimally or there could be a fuel mixture or fuel supply issue. Something is causing the closed-loop governing to react too slowly and not effectively control RPM quick enough in reaction to the loads and release of loads. The governor should be able to react quickly and hold the RPM constant.

Check if there is a troubleshooting section in your Kohler manual or open a support ticket with them and look into that further.

Ref:

The LV6548's won't accept the power if the frequency fluctuates too far outside its acceptable window (as you've noted).

Are all house loads turned off (and only MPP Solar grid charging) being attempted during troubleshooting or is it trying to run a bunch of heavy house loads at same time? (since the inverters run in bypass while in this mode)

Turns out the rod going to the throttle was bent slightly giving the wrong signals. What a $*&@ to diagnose, but its working smoothly now,

Thanks
Based on the specs thats a non inverter (I guess "traditional"?) generator? If so I'm curious how well it is working for you. I've previously been led to believe you needed and inverter generator for "clean enough" power for most AIO/battery chargers to work

It has been working well so far, when I put it in manual start it gives 60amps with no issues. I just started to set it up to turn on remotely by the inverter but need to chanhe some settings
