It would require massive storage solutions for solar to work.I'm more concerned about people cutting everything down and clearing nature away. Even for solar farms... stupidity.
There are 500 million park spots in the USA. Cover those with solar carports and most energy problem would be solved
Thanks for making my point. Your condescending arrogance is a sign of insecurity. I have no need to defend my position. That is what is called "Psychological Projection." A very clear example.. Who is Jim and Tammy Baker?? Huh? Had to google them.. Yikes.
Religion, by definition, is an irrational belief system.. There is nothing irrational about climate science as it is based on evidence.
Also, those who challenge climate science are either: 1) Professional and educated scientists who decided to accept large sums of money (very few of them) to cast doubt, or 2) The types of people who wouldn't recognize the difference between atoms of carbon, oxygen and nitrogen, if you LITERALLY drew them a diagram with crayons and cute colors.
99.999% fall under #2.. Go ahead, try drawing the three atoms correctly without looking them up and let me know how it goes.
Dude! Grow up... All you're doing is sitting up there in your gold plated high chair flinging your own feces down on the rabble. Nobody cares....So you're backing away from your initial ridiculous claim and trying to deflect attention with the Al Gore statement.. Got it.. Check.
That's what I thought you'd do.
Your beliefs are irrelevant.. I would say mine are irrelevant as well, but I don't have beliefs so it doesn't apply.
Basically, what you're doing is using a power source created by science, to power a machine that was also created by science, to then connect to a network created by science, to log onto a website created by science, to then proclaim you don't believe the science.. ROFLMAO.. and you have the nerve to use words like "sensible" ???? WTF?
And we both know when your life is on the line, you will run to the nearest hospital and beg the doctors to use all their science to save you...
Priceless.
This community of people here generally understands that humans are warming up the planet.. Go to a homesteading website, a cooking website, or a website where people talk about knitting, and you will find that the pendulum swings to the other side. This is due to the general average educational levels of the members.
You don't find many uneducated, bible thumping, ghost chasing, superstitious people in certain circles. Visit any astronomy forum or physics group, and you'd be lucky to find even one climate change denier.... Yes, its an educational thing.. The more science education one has, the more likely they are to understand the subject, and therefore, the more likely they are to agree with the man made problems.
It really is that simple.
Exactly. A skeptic is exactly what a scientist should be.Anyone who doesn't challenge climate science isn't a scientist.
I apologize if I offended you and hurt your feelings. Some folks are more easily triggered than others and I'll attempt to be more careful in the future. Thanks for making my point. Your condescending arrogance is a sign of insecurity. I have no need to defend my position.
1) No, scientists are neither believers nor skeptics.1 Exactly. A skeptic is exactly what a scientist should be.
2 The believers have never proven that CO2 drives warming of any kind.
3 There is plenty of evidence that CO2 in the atmosphere goes up and down because of warming and cooling.
4 The SUN is the biggest component of climate change; not a clear gas that comprises .04% of the air.
Not at night...I'm more concerned about people cutting everything down and clearing nature away. Even for solar farms... stupidity.
There are 500 million park spots in the USA. Cover those with solar carports and most energy problem would be solved
Another know-it-all.1) No, scientists are neither believers nor skeptics.
2) Yes they have
3) No there isn't
4) No it isn't.
So build those too.It would require massive storage solutions for solar to work.
So build those too.
Rome was not built in a day. The idea is to get started.
More people are joining the fight everyday. I bought my first Hybrid in 2005.Rome was not built in a day. The idea is to get started.
Not sure we need to believe in climate change to join the struggle.More people are joining the fight everyday. I bought my first Hybrid in 2005.
The tree huggers will win this battle
Its comical to watch people repeat the same lines over and over.. its like they handed out a booklet of denier phrases.. and conspiracy is always in there somewhere..Another know-it-all.
Scientists have agendas. If the government will cut off your funding unless you come to the conclusion they want.....how is that science ?
There is no such thing as an "off-grid" system that will save you money...Not sure we need to believe in climate change to join the struggle.
I like having the ability to operate everything if the grid goes down for a very long time- 6 months or longer.
I believe it's coming; our electric grid is too easy to take down for a long time and with open borders like we have today,
it's only a matter of time.
If I'm wrong, I still have a nice off-grid system that will save me a little ($100+ a month).
You really are an arrogant arse. There is no such thing as an "off-grid" system that will save you money...
You are probably correct. Climate change will fix itself. The ball is rollingNot sure we need to believe in climate change to join the struggle.

You're calling me arrogant? You really are an arrogant arse.
So if I run my central ac off-grid, that doesn't save on my power bill ? Please explain.
