I recently picked up a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV based on the Ultium platform with a nice 85kwh battery pack. It seems like the only option for any vehicle to x solution that is available now is the GM Energy V2H system.

I have contacted EG4 about any plans for supporting v2g/v2h, and they were very vague saying
We have not added that feature to the grid boss yet, as we are still in the process of thorough testing to ensure its functionality and reliability. We appreciate your patience during this phase and will keep you updated on our progress. Thank you for your understanding!
So, no clue if this means a month or a year or more. Does anyone have any more information on support for bidirectional charger solutions coming in the pipeline? GM currently has a big discount on their system that expires the beginning on January, so I want to make a decision by then if that is the direction to go.

I believe that it's the only option, currently. If you truly want integrated bidirectional connections.
I don't plan on buying the very expensive proprietary systems.
Once I have an EV truck, whether it's a lightning or diy. I will just use the 30a 240v outlet in the bed, as a generator source for the house system.

GM appears to be expanding into this area pretty aggressively if their website is an indication.

Not sure why the link shows up the way it does.

They are showing things similar to a Tesla power wall and a fairly sophisticated setup.
