I have a Yeti 3000X lithium ion battery pack that has a shorted cell. At least that is my supposition. It has worked fine for 3 years (always kept charged and plugged in), then lost voltage and cannot be recharged. GZ says that it is out of warranty and they do not repair them. So I looked around for a lithium battery repair service and did not have any success. I'm about 75 miles south of San Jose, CA so I thought there surely would be a company somewhere in the area that repairs lithium battery packs, but no leads. Anyone have any ideas, or do I just send it to recycling. Not even sure they will accept it, after the big battery fire in Moss Landing.
