Today my off-grid setup was charging my battery bank.

The batteries were "full" at 9:00 AM. (53.1V)

I turned off the grid and went off-grid at 9:00 AM.

At 11:00 AM, my battery bank was 54.3V.
Yikes, I don't want them at that level. (This is perfectly fine for these though, they can go all the way to 58.4V - LiFePO4)

So I turn on all the lights. An hour later 54.2V. 12:00PM

So, then ah haaa... Derp, plug the car in and let it Sol Charge. 3:30 PM and the Battery is finally down where the nominal range is "happier" 52.5V. The car is charging, the battery bank is under 0.050 cell difference. All is great.

Have a happy Solar Day.

Last week in the "Great Freeze" I ran off-grid during that time. I wonder if I'm going to get credited like the utility raping all the customers with the electric rates?

Someday Solar will be as widespread as gas cars are now. Until that happens I am happy to be part of this thought we have here. Use what is available right now and make Earth happy.
