Got a question about the smart load on EG4 12000xp

Hi I have ordered a 12000xp to replace my Growatt 5K Es which has been great but I wanted more available power . I would like to move my EV charger from my grid tie onto the eg4 to the smart load. So if I have my ev charger on the smart load and set it to use solar and batteries but get off batteries at say 60% SOC, does the Smart Load turn off, i.e. EV Charging stops, or does it use the grid pass through even though the rest of the inverter is still using batteries for whatever loads are in use? I hope that makes sense

Thanks
.

My experience with the 6000xp smart load feature is that once it's triggered on (with battery high and low SOC's and a set amount of Start PV Power coming in) it stays powered until it reaches your low set SOC) So yes, it does power off and would stop powering your charger. Just keep in mind that the Smart Load feature shares the XP's A/C output capability, not in additon to. I suspect this works the same with the 12000xp. What kind of watts or amps does the car charger require?
ps - It took me awhile to wrap my head around this feature!

Thanks for the replay.
I have a tesla charger that is currently connected to a 30 amp breaker on my House Grid box and i charge at 24amps usually overnight. So if its just truns offs the smart breaker and stops charging in my case, not as cool as i thought. I was hoping it would be less hands on. I mean I guess if i put in small breaker box, i could transfer between the solar side and gird manually.

There is a setting which keeps the smart load on if grid is active. Of course all loads would be on grid.
Edit: the 12000xp has a setting to keep the smart load on if on grid but I'm not sure if it's when on pass thru or anytime it's connected to grid. You might call EG4.

The Smart loads will turn off once it hits the parameters that are set.

The answer to everything is more batteries, then more panels, and then more AIO's ! I wanted to use the smart load feature real bad, some of the more opulent members heat their swimming pools with it. I wound up using a wifi pool pump switch, to energize my central system and maintain full control of when it's on grid and when it's on pv. The thing I would like cleared up from EG4 about the Smart Load is this, my experience so a far as I know, is you set your parameters for the smart load, battery SOC to come on, battery SOC to turn off, and you set a minimum pv power to start it up, But once triggered the Smart Load stays on until the low battery SOC comes into play. OR is it supposed to cut on and off everytime the pv power drops out? It's clear I still don't fully know how it works!
