Since I live in an area where we have a POCO who has flat out said no to any interconnect or grid feedback due to sub station limitations, I'm forced into a grid tied system with strict zero export or an off grid with grid passthrough. either way, I think the Gridboss/FB21 will fit the bill in either off grid mode or no grid sell back mode. but a couple questions....
1: In the manual the offgrid mode states that batteries can be charged? but how if the inverters are not technically grid connected as per the diagram from the manual below...
2: In no grid sell back mode, is there still the potential for grid feedback? like what would happen if you had a large load drop off on just the 18kpv, or any other hybrid inverter. Or Does the gridboss "protect" the grid from the inverters?
