GridBoss/FlexBoss configuration for 200 amp service (but split into 2 supply taps)

Our home only has 200amp service, but that appears to be split into 2 "supply lines" at the meter - each feeding seperate panels (each one with a 150amp main breaker). Is there any legit configuration that will allow me to backup the whole home with only a single GridBoss and FlexBoss unit? I am assuming not, but wanted to confirm here.

Electical novice, so please forgive any misused terminology.

Yes you can. Use the main output to run one breaker panel and use either the non backup output or one of the smart ports to run the other breaker panel.

Thanks for the response!

So, if using the 125amp smart-port, would that entail essentially ignoring one of the 2 supply lines? So Supply Line 1 into "Grid" on GridBoss and - outputs from there being "Backed Up Loads" to Panel 1 and 125amp SmartPort to Panel 2?

Currently Supply Line 1 runs right to Panel 1 and Supply Line 2 runs right to Panel 2.

I should also note that each of those supply lines has a 150amp breaker box on either side of the meter box.

I had the same type scenario. I had 2 houses each having a 200amp panel, but it would all run off of a single 200 amp meter. So I ran the meter to GB, then the backup loads from the GB runs to a box below the GB where we used polaris connectors to split the output to the two houses.

You could do this in the same way. Instead of splitting at the meter, take a single run from the meter to the GB grid connection, and then split to each of your panels from the the backup loads of the GB.

Exactly.
