Hi guys. So I bought a LV6548 and I am getting ready to install my new santan 250w used panels on the roof. I’m going to run 2 strings into the LV6548 both of witch will be hooked into a metal shutoff fused with 30 amps. Also I plan on grounding the metal shutoff to my grounding black outside. I was reading the manual and it is a bit confusing for my on if I should ground the solar panels or not. E6F3EE4B-1CB6-4C06-98F1-0BC85009C596.jpeg

I understand the confusion and I'm not an electrician - but I can tell you....
1) Panels should be grounded - my electrician grounded my roof array to the house ground. Others do a grounding rod near the array.
2) You might look into adding a lightning arrestor (surge protection) as stated in the CAUTION: paragraph above such as these - https://www.solar-electric.com/mnspd600.html?msclkid=2edd5c07f75213edbdda3cc489904ae0&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping - All Products&utm_term=4588536901185459&utm_content=All Products - I have these on my arrays.

I did find some more information and did end up grounding the panels as well as installing a pv combiner box with all the proper Fuses and surge protections. Thank you
