I have a 40 kw nissan leaf that i want to charge via solar at the ranchito. I'm planning on 18-20 240 watt santan solar panels. Will the

Growatt 5kW Stackable Off-Grid Inverter | SPF 5000 ES-US​

accept the 3000- 4000 watts hourly during sun and charge the leaf using level 2 charging cables @ 240v? Secondly can i also integrate a step down transformer with multiple outlets to also have 120v avaiable to run lights and other things at the carport where the EV charging will take place?
 
That unit will accept up to 6000w of solar.

Yes, there are many threads on this forum about using a transformer to get 120v out of it. Most people recommend a isolation transformer for safety, but there are also many mid point transformers or "auto transformers" including one from Growatt, which will be fine if you're not connecting the inverter to the grid.
