Own 3 - 51.2v 100ah older Gyll batteries and LOVE them, recently I moved the to a rack on wheels and lost the ability to see them on my Laptop - applied band aid by running separate pairs of cat 5e cable with a usb to serial ch340 adapter, problem solved, not - no usb port for mouse and I hate mouse pads.
Ok here's the fix:
1. run device manager and with 1 adapter plugged in at boot, see which com port is assigned to ch340 driver.
2. right click on Bms_tools desktop icon and click "open file location" once there
3. edit comlist.ini - I used notepad and set it up to Your com port and pack numbers, should look like this: use tab after return for spacing!

Just a note in support of using Notepad as the editor.

If a text editor like Wordpad or pretty much any other document software is used, there are "hidden" special characters imbedded in the text .... thing that control the formatting and printing of the document .... If one of those editors is used to edit an .ini file ... things can get very strange.

So ... if editing the .ini file .... DO... use Notepad. It doesn't use special formatting characters.

Why have Gyll batteries seemingly disappeared from being able to be bought?

Did the cabinet come with wheels or did you get some and put them on?

@Tuckles
It's a gutted 18.5kw UPS cabinet, weighed about 850 lbs before removing batteries and electronics, wheels were already on it.
Have 3 48v 100ah Gyll batteries and 1 on the way, also already built and installed Diy 48v 100ah w/overkill 100a Bms, also have 48v 200ah
in small rack on wheels on the right in pic. Haven't moved the Growatt beast to the cabinet yet, have to cut 4" exaust hole in top of cabinet.

Very Nice! Which Growatt beast do you have?
Spf-6000T-DVM Low frequency 240vac split-phase 105lbs, the 150vdc solar input, they now has 250vdc one's, Joe.

And how do you like it, that's the one I decided on and ordered last week, the one with 250vdc input.

Love it for the price, if i had it to do over would go with Sigineer, just for way better information - diagrams and support, ect..
Watts247 has been a great help, Ian is awesome, great website for hookup diagrams, Joe.

Who did you buy from?

I went with Signature Solar since they had the batteries I wanted, the G4LL 48V X 100AH like you have. They have been great to work with so far, very helpful figuring out the pieces parts details (mostly solar array) to put together a plug and play system, I'm a solar newbie and am greatly appreciative of their input.

I admit though that I have cabinet envy, your setup is exactly what I have been envisioning. Where did you find that thing?

Found it on Facebook for $100, took the batteries out and replaced 10 year old Sla 12v 10ah with agm 12v 6ah - 48 of them

That's gonna make a sweet setup when your done!! I ordered one of the cabinets from Signature Solar which will be great but I like that one better!

The 48 agm batteries revived my 12v 380ah system, took out old pwd controllers and added a MakeSkyBlue, added more panels and now runs my Modem, Router, Security system, magic jack and printer. Before and after, been busy this last year, 2 black batteries are backup 12.8v 100ah each built from TopBand/navitas lifepo4 Joe.
