This website allows people to host project documentation. There are many interesting and sophisticated projects posted already.

They cover everything from Solar Power to Battery Charging and even photography, sensors, atmospheric science, electroplating, wireless data communication, archaeology, satellite communication, you name it. No affiliation; I have personally read the hackaday blog for at least 10 years and think the people here might appreciate the content.

If you want to build something, I recommend searching for it on this site and be inspired by what others have build and shared already.

For inspiration of projects and socialization around projects.

For example, this project is about harvesting water from the air while avoiding the need for large batteries. They used a solar panel to cool down an insulated container of water, and then used a low power pump at night to pump the cold water through copper tubing in a cylinder and use a fan to pull air across the copper tubes.

It produced water from air.
