Has anyone seperated two inverters in both legs of the distribution panel?

I'm using two Growatt 5000 inverters in parallel as a master and slave. I'm wondering if it's possible to configure these into separate legs in the panel? Incase I'm not using my words correctly, take one inverter to left side of the panel, and the second inverter to the right side of the panel. It seems this would reduce the load and heat. Has anyone tried this? I just had to replace a growatt because it failed. I'm thinking it might be working too hard.

I did something similar with my 2 Victron 48v/5k Quattro inverters.
They are configured for split phase. #1 inverter goes to leg 1 and #2 inverter goes to leg 2.
I had to make some software changes in the inverters to accomplish the split phase aspect, but other than that they are running without issue for almost 2 years now.

A Growatt 5000ES is a 230v/ 240v single phase inverter.
If you connect them as you describe, you will have 230v on each leg and 400v between the legs.
