Small battery clamp.jpg
I have received by error small battery clamps (see the top one on that picture) that are too small for standard lead-acid batteries.
The diameter is about 13mm (1/2") whereas normal are 16mm (3/8").
Has someone a clue for what kind of batteries this clamp is?
Bike batteries? Non lead-acid?

Thank you for advices.

I think the Japanese batteries have posts that small. It looks like the top one would fit my BYD battery pack perfectly (~14mm). Where did you get it? :)

I got them on eBay from a vendor "autohome2010", but since I complained massively that he did not clearly state that these clamps are smaller than standard, he completely removed the offer. But you might find them otherwise...

+/- terminals on some batts can be different sizes. Did you try the terminals on both batt posts?

About every starter battery I have seen here in Europe has different size of terminal on + and -
