Have You Registered Your EG4 Battery Warranty?

Just noticed that the Warranty says that if the battery is not registered online within the first year of purchase your warranty is not Valid.

Registration Links, have your Order number and Serial numbers on hand.

EG4 LifePower
https://signaturesolar.com/eg4-lifepower4-warranty/

EG4 LL
https://signaturesolar.com/eg4-ll-warranty/

Once done I would take a screen shot and print it out.
UPDATE: I just tried to register my two new EG4-Lifepower4 batteries and the link above did not work!
Here is the updated link from customer service: https://eg4electronics.com/warranty

Has this changed? PowerPro now says /* Your warranty must be registered within the first year of purchase or provide proof of purchase from an EG4 authorized distributor to remain valid. */

OR is pretty significant here, proof of purchase ought to be easy nowadays.

Yeah, pro-rating sucks. I thought I saw something about a warranty extension from SS if you bought all EG4 components but now I can’t find it.

And yeah, at the end of the day if they won’t support their products in a reasonable way they are going to get a reputation and someone else will eat their lunch. 🤷‍♂️

Has anyone even had any warranty claims on PowerPro or are they too new?

I purchased 6 LifePower4 batteries from Signature Solar in three purchases. I have retained all sales receipts and emails.

Click the "Warranty Information" tab

Your warranty must be registered within the first year of purchase or provide proof of purchase from EG4 authorized distributor to remain valid. If you choose not to register or can not provide proof of purchase, your warranty may be invalidated. This limited warranty is to the original purchaser of the product and is one time transferable only if the product remains installed in the original installation location. All parts exchanges are covered during the warranty period. Outside of the continental US, replacement shipping charges may apply.

What is interesting however is that a link listed on the same page:
doesn't work.

Just keep copies of all sales receipts and correspondence. When purchasing items from Signature Solar create an account with login so you can review all purchases

And some people wonder why I am constantly annoyed with SS.
I don't even know how you found the Link. It is hidden so well it's almost criminal in nature.
They state clearly on the first line of the Warranty that you have to register the battery to get warranty service, then they hide the link to register:mad:
Anyway I made a Post about this whole 1 Year warranty BS. it is illegal but of course if you run into a warranty situation and they want to deny the claim they can hold you up in never never land for months until you get a lawyer and fight them.

Literally the first hit in a duckduckgo search...

I've given my fair share of SS opinions and will likely never do any business with them but it's really not hard to find the registration, regardless if it's malarkey you have to register in the first place.

It's also right at the bottom of their website.
It took me longer to type this post than find the form 2 different ways...

I was actually using the Signature Solar Website and had no luck finding it.
This whole pretending thing that they are separate companies when it's the same people at the same address is another turn off.

One of the issues I see with actually registering for the warranty is that you declare the installation location whereas a "proof of purchase" does not disclose the installation location and I doubt that the delivery address could be considered the same and the installation location. My purchases are listed under my account on the Signature Solar website, I have all the purchase receipts (proof of purchase) and I also have credit card statements. Don't know where EG4 Electronics is actually located but Signature Solar is located in Texas and is a licensed business in Texas and is an authorized distributor for EG4 products. I feel pretty comfortable NOT filling out the website registration nine times; once each for six EG4 LifePower4 batteries, two communications hubs and one EG4 Charge-Inverter.

For Signature Solar the warranty info is often listed on the product page for the specific product.
