Hello everyone.

I`m Lucian from Europe, and my always dream was to get a decent size van an convert it to a campervan and travel around world with my family.

I will need an off grid solar energy system to run a small fridge (220V, A++, aprox 0.36 kWh/ 24h consumption), laptop, 12v LED lights and phone/camera chargers.

My plan about solar energy is to build one with ben-tronics BB-2590/U, 7.5 Ah Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery ( https://www.bren-tronics.com/bt-70791ck.html ) be cause i have 8 pcs and they are pretty reliable and resistant.

I am looking forward to get some advice about an simple system based on these batteries , solar panel (maybe 2x 100w ) and a MPPT solar charger (Victron preferred).

Any advice about some Victron MPPT charger to work with 8 x BB-2590 batteries?

Thanks in advance !

Welcome to the forums!

Sounds like a fun project! You're doing exactly the right thing first by doing an energy audit to assess your needs. Take a look at the Energy Audit link below; after working through it you'll be setup for the next steps. After that you might be interested in some stuff from the FAQ:
