I am new here. I am building off-grid on acreage in North Idaho. Right now I have an RV with 900 watts of solar that is also powering a container shop/office. The well pump also runs off solar. I recently added an energy star air conditioner which works just fine. I am planning to build a log cabin soon. In a few weeks we will be moving there full-time so it will be interesting to see how everything works in the winter. I have lived there for 2-3 weeks at a time but always in warmer temperatures.
