So I started messing with solar a few years back when I got my first 12V Fridge for camping. My current setup is a Valence 138ah Second life Lithium battery I use to power my current 65 quart fridge/freezer. I charge the battery with the combination of a Rich Solar 100W panel mounted to the roof of my truck and a Redarc DC-DC charger. I put this all into a Dewalt toolbox with a fuse panel, so far I only have 12V outputs. I have a good Inverter but want to build that out on a DIY system that has more ah, looking at the 4 battery 280ah setups out there recommended by Will. Looking to learn here and help out where I can, someday I plan to build an off grid home and do the solar setup myself.
