Help me change my battery configuration.

I would like to set this up so that the positive and negative running to the inverter come out of the center of the batteries rather than coming off the sides. It seems like there would be a way to do it but I'm new to this and I can't wrap my head around it. Could one of you guys draw me or show me a picture of a diagram where it's still a 24 volt system but, the wires that run to the inverter come out of the center of the batteries? One answer begets another question. Is it best to connect the solar charger to the same posts on the batteries that you're connecting the inverter to or is there a better way to do that?

If the battery terminals have limited space it is fine to attach at the terminal adjacent to the main inverter connection.
Eventually as more is added most end up with some bus bars.

you would use the other two "center posts" in the diagram with ref batteries (the ones that just connect battery to battery as drawn).

You are going to need 2 battery balancers, 1 per each string of 2 batts. Without the balancer the batteries will not all be at the same charge.
The good news is they are cheap.

Two positives are connected direct. Use one for the inverter, other for solar.

I asked timselectric about this and he said, he thinks it will work on the 4 battery making 24v. I'll show it to you guys too.

What size and type of fuse/s you would recommend and can you show me where to put it/them? It's a 3000w 24v inverter.
