HELP with Solar System Design For Off Grid Seasonal Island Cabin

Perhaps use a 12v panel to run water pumps or some 12v what-evers (lights, etc?)
Now that’s a reason to go 12V. Not a deciding factor but if you’ll never want to do anything over 16A and that rarely, 12V lithium batteries will be fine.

I just know I can run a 2000W inverter on 12V and vacuum, run fridge, make coffee, etc. Did the same on a 1200W for several years. Currently using 1000W output AIO that I like but idle consumption is a killer with a few clouded days.
 
The first piece of the solar system will limit the rest of the system.
Planning is cheaper & better than rushing.

240 volts seems a bit much for a fishing cabin but would allow for more product choices.

What does your local NWS (National Weather Service) say the "all time" coldest temp is for the area? A phone call is the quickest way to an answer.

Looks as though water will be the greatest issue to overcome. Get that done properly and rake in the bucks from renters... go man go.

Solar will definitely be a great addition to your cabin. DIY solar will be very affordable.

Are there any restrictions other than your panel size and quantity?

No other restrictions that are firm. What I hope to end up with are 4 roof panels at maximum watts feeding battery bank and control system in the shed. Then run a 110 or 220 line about 50' to a small panel and from there through the cabin. Depending on the water system design, run 110/120 line from the cabin panel to the pump or 12v/24v from the shed to the pump(s).
 
To keep it simple just put a submersible pump in the lake with a pressure tank, this will give you 20 to 40 psi water pressure, plumb cabin as if in town. The pump will draw 15 amps on 120 volt so you will need a significant battery bank to store power. Your 4 panels should be enough deliver enough power to supply household needs but a back up generator would be essential fo cloudy days. 24 inverter as well!
