Good morning! I’m looking to build a small setup with only one or two solar panels of 500w each for my apartment, but I’m looking for an micro inverter because I just want to pass the two cables of the positive and neutral to connect to an outlet or electrical board, the space where the cables arrive inside the house is very small and I have no space or conditions to mount the normal inverter.
I want to know what micro inverter do you recommend and if it’s possible to connect it to the Wi-Fi and see what the current production.

Thanks in advance.

First there is the issue of a buffer for variable output of the panels. Gridties do that with the grid, battery systems do that with the battery array and inverter.

10ga wires from typical small panels will handle the amps snd those cables are as small as or smaller than the micro inverter output would be. 500W panels at what DC volts?

I see the allure but you won’t save any money with that setup over grid cost
