Here's what the Sol-Ark 12K does in the event of a gen start failure

In case anyone else was wondering about this, here's what tech support has to say -
the sol ark closes/connects the two-wire to tell the generator to start. This connection will stay closed until either the sol ark is power cycled or the parameters in the settings are met or changed. If the generator fails to start the connection will stay closed until as mentioned the sol ark is power cycled or the parameters in the settings are met or altered - there is not a reset or a fault or error for a non start generator

It would seem simple to just add in a subroutine to check if voltage is showing up on the Gen port in X amount of seconds. If not send an error and turn off the relay.
It’s one of those features we could ask them to add.

In this other thread Devin reports it's on their list. The problem is that until now they have relied on a third party (PowerView) to mirror all the settings that are on the physical control panel, so they are not free to set the pace of changes.

I've been told that they bought PowerView. So hopefully this changes things.
