Hello. I have a Victron BMV 712 measuring the usage and charging off my 4 cell 280AH LiFePO4 battery. For the past 24 hours, I have been getting a high voltage warning every time I go into the BMV app (the high voltage alarm is set for 15V but the BMV is only reporting 13.68V; the Solar is charging at 13.9V. The BMS is showing 13.835V (3.398V, 3.487V, 3.459V, and 3.461V for the cells).

I don't think the cells are out of balance but maybe this group will know better. The high voltage alarm happens even when I take a look at night time (1:00AM - no sunlight, no charge source...)

Is the alarm an error or indicative that something is wrong?

The BMV can't see individual cell voltages, so that isn't it. Break out your volt meter and start poking around. Verify all connections. Something is producing 15+v, or the BMV is flawed. Given the quality of Victron equipment, I doubt that the BMV is the problem, but you never know.
