Howdy Ya'll,

In my quest over the last couple months to find the cheapest yet "trustworthy" storage for my solar office project, I found HiMASSi on Amazon (US). Going to keep this short as at this point these clones are running mostly together. That said, They have 100ah+ LifePo4 batteries with Low Temp Cutoff and Bluetooth for great prices. I purchased 2 of the 200ah for 24v, and can confirm the low temp cutoff works and the bluetooth as well. Only time will tell how long the BMS lasts, but otherwise these batteries seem like a solid deal and the customer support via Amazon chat with the vendor was great as well.

Firgured I'd share!

Thanks for reading.

Circling back to update this thread so anyone googling may stumble across, save some time, and maybe contribute some stuff I don't know.

Something tells me they will not be producing batteries under this name much longer given their dwindling offerings, but I could be wrong.

-Looks like these batteries use VIP BMS with Bluetooth
-The Bluetooth phone apps I've seen work are ee-bms and VIP-BMS.
-In the ee-bms app I can access details with password 666666 and settings with 888888, these do not work on the VIP-BMS app though.

Bluetooth on one of my 4 batteries isn't working, trying to figure out how to reset it or if it's broken.

Something I've noticed is that it's important to check the settings on these (via the Bluetooth app), as all they have different settings. 2 of my batteries were set at "Full Capacity:184ah" while another was 199ah. Three of them had "CTC:0c" except one that had -10c. Getting these all synced is going to be important, need to figure out the Bluetooth on this last one.

Ok I opened up the battery with the Bluetooth problem (not broadcasting to connect to with app) I unplugged the Bluetooth module from the BMS and plugged it back in, and it worked! I think it may have gone wonky because this battery fully discharged from sitting in a warehouse for over a year.

Worth noting I've watched a ton of Will Prowse videos and felt confident doing this as I knew what to expect inside, I wouldn't recommend this unless youre confident.

Here's some photos of the build while I was in there, pretty good. Was glad to see bus bars and no soldering anywhere. This battery has heaters too I guess, again this was the remaining (used) stock of Himassi 12v 200ah so my others do not have heaters, just low temp protection.

On to ensuring a safe spot to set the "Full Capacity" setting to between all 4 of my batteries (see my last post).
