I looked at previous posts but could not find any answer to solve my question.
I am building a new surveillance van that needs 400 ah to run all cameras dvr cell, pc and heat or ac for 8 hours. The area that would be temperature regulated is more like a capsule in the van.
The batteries that I am looking at are the Li Time 230 ah battery. Recommended on this site. https://www.litime.com/products/12v-230ah-plus-lifepo4-battery?ref=XBIA62RFcalHns
I can charge at home with solar panels but once on the road I cannot use solar.
The specs for the battery above recommends a 45 amp charger at 14.2 volts. Since I am charging with the alternator, how do I regulate the amps coming in? My alternator is a 150 amp system. Is there some kind of regulator that would allow me to limit the amperage?
Thanks
