Planning the solar installation in '24 Melbourne 24L.
Planned to use Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 charger.
This charger has PV connection input, and a single battery connection output.
The "solar ready" connection in the Melbourne has PV cables and two different battery connections, one to the existing lead-acid chassis battery, and one to a new coach lithium battery.
Since these are two different type batteries, I suspect I cannot tie them together to the single charger battery connection output and have it fully charge both batteries properly / safely
In addition, apparently since the lithium battery dominates the circuit, the chassis lead-acid battery never gets the “equalization charge” which shortens the life of the lead-acid battery?
Appreciate your advice.
Thanks.
