How hot does the underside of panels get?

In Central Florida, I'm wondering how hot the underside of solar panels get. I'm considering laying the top six inches or so on a hedge during emergencies. Will it burn or just wilt the plants?

They get warm but if only temporary will have no effect on a tropical hedge.

If your hedge does catch fire it is not god telling Moses where to go but rather from a damaged underside of a panel in a high voltage string!

If the bush catches fire, I'll know it is the end of days; the s--t truly has hit the fan.

More of a geek thing, but if you are going to just lay it on the hedge, keep the panels's junction box at the bottom. That way when heat is rolling up the bottom side, it isn't also heating up the junction box and the bypass diodes inside.

They will get almost as hot as the metal on a parked car in the sun. No fire but it might wilt the leaves.
