My Aolithium 100Ah 12V batteries are in a 2s2p battery bank and are charged by panels via a Victron 100/50. I am considering
adding some 7/24 load (small fridge) and given sufficent cloudy days will need to charge it from a generator. Researching
high charge rate 24V chargers - the Aegis 25 amp looks promising but their website & support had the caution below concerning
charging a 24V battery bank. But how would this be worse for the batteries than the Victron which charges the bank as a single unit
with no apparent problems (cells are balanced, batteries are balanced)?
Any guidance/suggestions appreciated.
CHARGING SERIES/PARALLEL CONNECTED BATTERIES
In the event that multiple batteries are connected in either Series or in Parallel, DO NOT attempt to
charge all the batteries simultaneously if you are not using a special Multi-Bank Charger.
Series: Each battery must be charged separately and given a full charge individually.
Parallel: Each battery must be charged separately and given a full charge individually
