Hi all,
I've just built my Seplos Mason 280L V3 battery kit from Frogstar, everything seems OK with it, it switches on and reports the individual cell voltages etc. I've used the Seplos BMS Studio to apply the recommended settings.
But, when I plug it into My SPH5000 inverter it isn't recognized. I get a BMS fault error code on the inverter. I am using the communication cable that was with my Growatt ML33RTA batteries (being replaced if the Seplos works). I'm guessing I need to change some settings on the inverter to recognize the battery?
Edit: seem to answered this myself: it's a setting accessed via the LCD and buttons on the front of the Seplos battery. Seems to be charging and discharging normally now. Gone from 6 kWh of storage to 15
